Tulsa, Oklahoma is now included as one of the host cities of the 2012 Great Cloth Diaper Change. I'm thrilled to be hosting the Tulsa, Oklahoma Great Cloth Diaper Change with Raye Mahlberg-Friedemann of Green Bees Diaper Co. We hope you'll join us to break the Guinness World Record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously.
The Tulsa, Oklahoma Great Cloth Diaper Change will be held on April 21, 2012, from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Whole Foods Market in Tulsa. The actual cloth diaper change will be at 11:00am. Whole Foods Market is located at 1401 E. 41st Street on the Northeast corner of 41st Street and Peoria. Whole Foods Market is also having an Earth Day event from 1:00pm - 4:00pm so be sure and stay for the continued festivities! Some FYI's for The Great Cloth Diaper Change:
- Each participant must be paired with a child 39 inches or shorter who is wearing a commercially available cloth or disposable diaper and be equipped with an additional commercially-available, 100 percent reusable cloth diaper (no disposable inserts) for changing into.
- At the sound of a loud start signal, all participants must remove their child's cloth or disposable diaper and properly put on a cloth diaper that is 100 percent reusable.
The first 100 families with a qualified participant through the door will receive a SWAG BAG filled with coupons, product samples and other goodies. So far, we will have a caricature artist and face painter at our event! Whole Foods Market will also be bringing in vendors for product demos and sampling!
