August is National Breastfeeding Awareness Month! Twenty years ago the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) launched the World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) campaign to focus and facilitate actions to protect, promote and support breastfeeding. The campaign theme was "Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative." World Breastfeeding Week is now officially celebrated annually from August 1st - 7th. To celebrate, I'll be having a few fun giveaways each week in August.
