Happy Friday, mommas! I had meant to post this giveaway yesterday, but I was in Mannford, Oklahoma for a good portion of the day! In case you didn't know, for the past week or so Oklahoma has been dealing with wild fires throughout many parts of the state. I have a charitable group, Shower of Hope Oklahoma, and was in Mannford delivering the donations that we had collected for the Mannford wild fire victims. A family friend joined the caravan and we donated two car loads of infant formula, diapers, wipes, toiletries, paper good products, clothing, shoes and much more to the Mannford Little Pirates Day Care. The landscape was simply unreal. I mean, it's one thing to see images and footage on television, but quite another to witness it firsthand. I have to be honest, the sights were a little overwhelming and I can't even begin to imagine how the firefighters battled the blaze. It's difficult to comprehend, but approximately 58,500 acres were burned in the Mannford, Oklahoma, area and over 111,000 acres have burned statewide since last Friday. It had to be an absolutely daunting task and I'm thankful for the brave firefighters who battled those wild fires!
So, on a lighter note, let's get to the second giveaway in honor of National Breastfeeding Awareness Month! A little history for you, but twenty years ago the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) launched the World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) campaign to focus and facilitate actions to protect, promote and support breastfeeding. The campaign theme was "Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative." World Breastfeeding Week is now officially celebrated annually from August 1st - 7th. To celebrate, I'll be having a few fun giveaways each week in August.
The second giveaway for Breastfeeding Awareness Month will be some Earth Mama Angel Baby goodies. Earth Mama Angel Baby is one of my favorite brands. I love their products because they're re 100% free of toxins, cruelty-free, gluten-free, vegan, and free from all artificial preservatives, fragrances and dyes. Earth Mama Angel Baby also uses eco-friendly recyclable or reused/reusable packaging and packing materials.
I have used Earth Mama's Nipple Butter for over a year now on my face, cuticles and other dried, cracked skin. Made with soothing organic Calendula and non-sticky natural plant butters to comfort and protect. It's safe for baby too - no need to wash it off before nursing! Apply as needed, and after each feeding. Natural Nipple Butter is lanolin free and it goes on like butter! What I love about Natural Nipple Butter is that it will be useful way beyond your nursing days. My favorite use for Natural Nipple Butter is on the skin around my nose. With fall and winter soon approaching, the air can become quite dry causing delicate skin to become irritated and dry. Natural Nipple Butter is the perfect remedy for any dry, cracked skin!
Another popular Earth Mama Angel Baby product is their Organic Milkmaid Tea. USDA Certified 100% Organic & Certified Kosher, Organic Milkmaid Tea was created for those times when the "milk of momness" needs a little encouragement. Tasty iced or hot Organic Milkmaid Tea is a fragrant and comforting blend of organic herbs traditionally used to help support healthy breast milk production. All Earth Mama Angel Baby teas are naturally caffeine free, in biodegradable, easy to brew tea bags with compostable overwrap, and the 100% recycled and recyclable cartons were produced using wind energy. Steep, sip and enjoy!
Get excited, mommas, because one lucky momma will Earth Mama's Nipple Butter and Organic Milkmaid Tea.
There are TWO MANDATORY entries and the other entries are simply extras for more chances to win! This giveaway will run Friday, August 10, 2012 until Friday, August 17, 2012 at 12:01AM EST.
