My youngest turned 2 last week and we had a "Cowboy" themed birthday party! I made a rib-sticking meal perfect for all of the cowboys and cowgirls. I made a yummy Spicy Dr. Pepper Shredded Pork for BBQ sandwiches for dinner served with potato salad, pasta salad and chips with a spinach herb dip. I also served strawberries with a whipped cream cheese dip. For dessert, I made chocolate cupcakes with a white buttercream frosting and a chocolate cowboy boot cake iced with chocolate frosting. I used large mason jars for a small candy bar and served Twizzlers, Dum Dum Suckers and mini Kit Kat Bars. I also used smaller mason jars for serving lemonade, water and my famous (well, maybe to a handful of people) pineapple party punch! I've included a few pictures of the birthday bash! It was a lot of fun and I can't believe my little one is already two!
